Collect less
Request only information needed for a defined task. General forms must not collect credentials, payment details, tax identifiers, health information, customer lists, employee records, or confidential client material.
Keep purposes and permissions distinct
Responding to a request, research participation, relevant follow-up, anonymized themes, and a later proof conversation are separate permissions. One does not silently authorize another.
Keep people responsible
AI may assist a defined task, but accountable people review work that can affect people, money, access, commitments, or publication. AI output is not represented as professional judgment or a guaranteed fact.
Use real system facts
Processors, retention, access, deletion, incident contacts, and security statements will be documented only after real systems are selected, configured, and reviewed. Those facts remain blockers while production collection is disabled.
